👉🏽 Despite Supreme Court and municipality rulings prohibiting gender segregation in public spaces, fights broke out Erev Yom Kippur from attempts to enforce gender segregation at Yom Kippur programs in municipal public spaces in Tel Aviv and across the country. Coalition members, including PM Netanyahu, Smotrich, Ben Gvir, Deri, and Arbel chastised protesters who disrupted the services protesting the (illegal) gender segregation. Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai announced there is no place for gender segregation in public spaces of Tel Aviv.

👉🏽 The US Department of Homeland Security called Israel Foreign Ministry’s announcement of the visa waiver program “premature” and said the program was not finalized.

👉🏽 Maariv announcing that food prices in Israel rising again: Toiletries up by 4%, food by another 3.37%. Israel is 38% more expensive than the average OECD country, with Switzerland next most expensive after Israel.

👉🏽 YNet reporting that Ben Gurion University in Beer Sheva to build a gender-segregated campus for the Hareidim, after winning a tender put out by the Ministry of Education. The campus is set to open in October 2024. .
