The current Israeli government budget includes NIS 13.7 billion ($3.7 billion) for Haredi institutions, including NIS 3.7 billion ($960 million) for increased yeshiva stipends. Last week, the Knesset Finance Committee approved the allocation of hundreds of millions more shekels for the Haredi educational system. (JPost)
